Water, anise, coriander and fennel seeds are combined to provide the base for this distillate. It is twice distilled, but during the second run of distillation, the middle section of what is collected, also known as "the hearts," is set aside to become the finished product. It is then placed in a stainless steel tank for approximately twenty days. Afterwards, the product is then filtered and bottled.
