On the hillsides of Segonzac around Chateau Fontpinot, the Domaine keeps alive the age-old methods of grapegrowing, harvesting, pressing, distilling and ageing. Red copper Charentais stills, oak casks from the Limousin forests, alternate damp and dry cellars. . . COLOR: Glorious copper, rich amber towards auburn and coppery color. Translucid.
NOSE: Mature, ample nose mixing dried peaches, oak, wood, resins, vanilla, almonds and moss.
PALATE: Oily, silky, jammy, glazed fruit, vanilla, dark caramel, sweet and elegant.
FINISH: Very full finish, with grace and elegance.
